Ivan's on holiday this week so its an easy ride :-)

With the predicted rain and wind for Saturday it looks like Sunday is the best chance for a dry ride.

As there will still be a westerly wind on Sunday, we will head for Cannington to enjoy the tail wind on the way back. The usual route going out - Mark, Woolavington, Bridgwater, Spaxton, Cannington and then back via Bridgwater, Puriton (which will make a change from the usual A38 route), Huntspill, Highbridge, Brent Knoll.

So as its Sunday 9am at Priory.

I'm sure this news will offer no pleasure to anybody, but it's currently raining in Nancy.

Went into town last night to knob with the Nancy boys.

Should be in Switzerland tonight if my bike doesn't break down, heading through the Vosges, Ballon d'Alscase, Plateau D'belle Filles and shit.

Paul is okay too (not that you're worried.)

There were less than a hand full of riders at Priory for the WCG. The Weston Wheelers were lurking just inside the gates and had an impressive tow hand fulls of riders including Merion. Wayne was on his old Specialized but as we set off his front deraileur cable snapped and he did the rest of the ride in the small chain ring!
We set off with grey skies along the newly surfaced Queensway. There were so much excess chippings that a island had built up in the centre of the road.
When we reached the seafront the wind was mainly on our backs. At Jeannies bogs we picked up Stewart and Robbie. We collected Jeannie in Mark (not sure how that happened probably something to do with the route planning :-) ). Unfortuantely we lost Robbie somewhere around Woolavington. Hopefully he got back ok.
We took the usual route to Bridger and on up to Spaxton.
At the Cannington garden centre we enjoyed good cake.
The return journey was via Puriton for a change. Good work on the front by Neil.
