once again i've had to make the call as late as possible; gaw'd knows what's best, the bbc have changed their forecast for saturday at least 6 times over the course of this week.
we'll alight at hartley's and choose a route in accordance with conditions
if dry, route out will be via sweets at 20 odd miles and we'll then make our way up a mendip hill untrodden by our group for 5 years or more; according to strava none of the chain gang strava members have been up there, so a nice surprise in store.
if wet we'll go straight up via shipham or cheddar; if really wet, we may not get past cheddar but we'll see.
initial route out will be puxton, sandford but difficult to predict beyond that.
PS: i've started a bank holiday thread again. another drive and ride. forecast is much better for monday so it should be another great day out (not that i can promise another great cake stop like last time.)
