About 14 riders turned up on the first nice day for weeks.
We set off for Glastonbury and by the time we got to Cheddar the pace had picked up and the group began to split up. It seemed like some people had'nt been out on their bikes for a while and were determined to make the most of it :-). At Wedmore we split in to two groups with some deciding to take the more direct route while the rest of us went via Wookey. At Heepeys we all met up and then we Paul and Ian, who were on their own ride, also appeared.
The main group left the cafe first while about six of us had another coffee and were treated to the site of Paul (Jimmy Saville) Burns hairy chest which beared a striking ressemblance to Jimmy Saville's (How's about that then!).

Ivan is now collecting the money for the club shirts. I think he has payments from seven people. When he gets the money for ten he will be placing the order so please get your money in next week. Thanks

Too right some of us haven't been out on our bikes for a while. So much for a moderate ride to Glastonbury! I struggled to keep up with the slower group on the return leg. Gave up at Brent Knoll and stopped for more tea, then carried on home. Good to see everyone again and hope the weather is as good next week. Positively barmey!
