Forecast is a confidently dry, but a nagging 12mph NE and a 12C max might dampen spirits a little.
This will be the third time we've been to or through the happy platform this year; if we're feeling sprightly (????) we could go beyond for another 10-15 to Wotton or similar, but the last time we planned that Burns' legs gave way near Saltford and Bitton it was. So with that in mind, we'll plan for Bitton which should give us a better hope of a longer and harder experience (strava watch out.)
Route out will be the classic puxton - sandford - churchill - wrington - red hill should you wish to latch on.
Gordon used to do Bitton so I hope we won't need a tri-stop, however route will be within a sniff of chew valley should people need a short/soft option. This week's guest 'gotta get back' destination can be costa coffee by b&q (offering a crane sports shopping bonus.)
