Who knows? this could be the last good weekend of the year; so let's make the most of it!
the full route to shaftesbury and back is around 110, so you won't get back until around 6 - 6:30; but we'll have a couple of drop offs en route (as we did last year.)
route out will go via glastonbury and podimore (at 27 - 38 miles respectively) offering two shorter options; shaftesbury (via sherborne) is around 60 miles out and 50 back and the more the merrier for this long one as we ride into shaftesbury up the iconic gold hill (hovis hill) cobbles (to the universal applause of the resident japanese tourists.)
we will leave weston via wolvershill, banwell, winscombe and cheddar should you wish to latch on.
