legs are out so we ought to say another hello to bruton.

we'll be eating at the castle, it opens at 11:30 so we won't need to get there too quick (!!??!!)

usual route via batcombe on the way and castle cary on the return, could make it a 2 stopper in glastonbury on the way back if we're feeling lazy.

route out will be puxton, sandford, churchill, langford, burrington should you wish to latch on.

tri-curious can alight at rocky mountain.

enjoyed the route out to Bruton, but that wind on the home leg was fucking brutal!

i was intending to go up Shipham Hill, but I had to skip it....I was toasted on both sides! there just was no let up. I even had to pedal down Cheddar Gorge. If I didnt, i would have come to a complete standstill. Very Happy

    hope everyone got home okay.

    see you next week.
    regards, Paul

Yes, we all got back ok albeit wind battered - some more than others :-). Cant imagine what it was like to do it on your own!!!
We managed to lose Steve near Glastonbury but we were all reunited at Sweats.
I'll probably do the ride report tomorrow

    Nothing to report this week.
    No mechanicals or crashes.
As Paul said the wind was brutal on the way back. We adopted a 2 stop stratergy as the Pub at Bruton didn't serve any decent breakfast
