Saturday 13th December - Christmas Ride, 10am Pier followed by 1pm meal at Commodore

In our world of plenty, we can spread a smile of joy.... feed north worle ETC. ETC. ETC.

yep, it's that time of year again.

10am meet at the pier for a 2 hour excursion into the burning sun.

back for 12, a quick sh', sh', sh', sh' and then it's off to the commodore where we can raise a glass for everyone.

there's talk of a few drinky poos in town afterwards, so if you can't make the meal you could always meet us later, just call or text us for location.

2015 Pro-Rider Sweepstake
On Saturday, we kick off a season long game. A cross between a sweepstake and a fantasy league, you can draw a rider for the season who will gain points. It will be £5 to enter and the winners pot will be used to buy drinks at next year's christmas do, so everyone's a winner

the initial draw will take place on saturday and spare rider names will remain available until Jan 1st, monies to me by this deadline.

full rules/points scoring system etc. will appear on this forum after saturday.

We had twenty riders meet at the Pier for the xmas meal ride. Xmas outfits and decorations were a bit lacking this year. Weather was good although cold and we set off in good spirits with the intension of doing a 2 hour ride to be back in time for the xmas lunch at the Commodore hotel. As we headed out towards BoS Mike had a puncture. Ivan decided that we should break with tradition and have a cafe stop!!! So we made it to the Lunch Box at BoS and all had teas, coffees and mince pies (or tarts if you're not from around these parts). By the time we had left the cafe it was already gone 11am so we made our way straight back to WsM.
This year at the Commodore we had one big table for everyone to sit at. We all enjoyed the top quality crackers and jokes. Following the meal a few of us headed into town for the Old Colonial. Unfortunately my memory is a bit hazy so I can't remember what happened next but a few more pubs were involved.
