it's been a while since we fought the one way system into the royal spa.

forecast reckons drizzle at 9, but dry beyond; so if you believe the bbc you can get your skates on in the morning regardless of how it looks (though i think they may have packed the rink away at the tennis club.)

route out will be puxton, sandford, churchill, burrington should you wish to latch on.

we'll do the reverse route of our previous sorties as this will avoid the longer 'killer climbs' route back and should offer a real scoot into bath as we descend the mendips.

tri-curious can darken rocky mountain's door (again!)

    PS:
the jersey manufacturers have just sent me a proposed design for the new jerseys, check out the jerseys thread in notifications for some posh pictures. £40 (Money to martin) secures your jersey and the order will go off in the last week of february; deadline for monies is 21/2.

I thought about joining in on the jolly to Bath tomorrow but I've only got 6 spare inner tubes and I don't think it will be enough! Joking aside I won't be out tomorrow as I have to see a nice young Polish lady with an electric drill. She dresses up for me and then dishes out the pain. I think she likes to fill a crack in. If I'm not too late getting out the dentist I might try to catch the tri-curious at Rocky Mountain but don't hold your breath.

    Enjoy!

I've got an idea - how about you skip the dentist and I'll bring along my Black & Decker with a few old drill bits. It can't be any more painful than what she is going to do!

When I had my wisdom tooth out last year I put it under my pillow that night. To my surprise and astonishment there was a fully built Colnago with full campy record and Zipp 808's Stuffed under my pillow in the morning, which was nice. As a kid I used to get 10p, I guess that's hyper inflation for you.

On Friday the forecast for Saturday was showers but mainly dry - almost right! The only problem with the forecast is they failed to predict the heavy snow shower at 8:30am which may have had something to do with the poor turn out. Just Steve, Scott an myselft braved it. We decided that Ivan must have overslept so we called around for him and asked if he was coming out to play. He didn't seem that keen!!!! Anyway we pursaded him to join us for a short ride to BoS. When we got to Loxton he decided that we needed to hang around in the cold for a while while he fixed his broken chain :-). No Strava records were broken on the way to the Chatterbox where we were treated to the new cafe makeover ie new management and counter but same good prices.
The return trip was alot warmer with the temperature doubling since we set out (6 degrees!). Nothing to report on the way back and we didn't break the 35 mile barrier.
Sounds like its going to be a good ride tomorrow.

    TTC - 4/5 - good prices still
    OJC - 1/5
    KF - 1/5
