Saturday 2nd Aug - ???

For those of us who are not visiting our Frenchy friends I will post a ride later but at the moment the forecast for Saturday is for showers!

Suggestions welcome including Ivan as long as they are sensible :-)

I've just checked the forecast and its saying showers all day Saturday!

My current pick of the pops is The New Farm shop at Bishop Sutton.

Weather was fine despite predictions.
1 rider set off with the intention of climbing Cheddar Gorge.
I won the climb over Sandford col.
After consulting the other riders I decided to head for Bleadon and make it a quick loop back home.
Again i won the climb, this time over Bleadon col.
No stats this week as they were too pathetic.
Don't worry Ivan's back next week so its safe to come out again :-)

Ha Ha Ha! Can't believe it was a group of 1. Should have come to La France avec tous les mates! Even I get to ride with Mrs W but that's this is not the time or place to talk about that - we should be focussing on the cycling! Borrowed a big heavy mountain bike to bring on my hols. 30 miles feels more like 60! Just knocking off another bottle of the vin rouge. Not like those lager louts in Bourges de wotsit.
