After a few seconds of research it would appear that Magnus Backstedt is generally considered to be the heaviest pro rider of recent times weighing in at an alleged 94kg. For anyone who is vaguely interested that is about 14 stone 10 lbs in old numbers. Might be worth pinging him an email to find out what wheels he used to deliver all that power(!) to a ride without breaking spokes!
