Remember the days when there was a Saturday group that met at priory? For the 3rd consecutive week Saturday looks a washout.

Let's meet on Sunday again, 9am. We'll decide where to go on the day.

    ......sorry

Damn weather. I need to ride on Saturday again so if I will head for Priory at 8 45 tomorrow. If you want to join me we can go South in to the wind. The current forecast looks like we may get away with it until around lunchtime.

A group of around 10 gathered this morning with the sun cracking the flags. Many opted for arm warmers or even rain jackets to protect themselves from the sun's powerful Rays. The Iron Men had preselected Sweets as the destination, in order to save themselves for further titanic swims and runs over the weekend. The intense heat meant the team was dripping all over the floor at break time, but everyone went for the excellent coffee and cake rather than a cooling Coke. Sweets were at the top of their game with an extensive and varied selection of treats, clean tables and eye catching waitresses. After a quick check of the legendary portacabin we ambled back to the bikes, to be informed that Wayne was under orders to be home by 12 and the train back to Weston would be the non stopping service.
