Portishead but not as we know it!  This week we may be riding in a clockwise loop and possibly with a secret cake stop. Question
Possible damp roads at the start then light northerly wind and cloudy but no rain forecast.

All will be revealed at Priory at 9.00.

Yes, this was Portishead but not as we know it.  A huge turnout of 2 riders at Priory due to the light mist being mistaken for actual rain!   Shocked

After discovering that the Rapha Outlet store at Portishead had closed down, we were forced to abandon the route with the secret cake stop and go instead to Portishead.  That’s spelt:  S h e p t o n. M a l l e t.  Luckily we discovered another Rapha Outlet store there and Pete was able to get his fix.

Eggs Benedict at Hartleys on the way back made everything OK.  Even the sun came out.  sunny

Sounds like a dismal day turned good Steve.

55 hilly miles, Rapha clothing, sunshine, all topped off with Hartley's very own Eggs benedict. What more could anyone ask for?
