Though not quite sprung, spring is trying it's best to hint that it may decide, pretty soon, given the right star alignment, to creep its head furtively around the corner..... 12 degrees!!!

we'll head to north curry via langport/currry rival. so it'll be high ham high jinx again (climb now starts in cheddar) and don't forget to slow down at the bottom of the hill on the A378 as we'll be turning right; i may even venture an indication this time if you're lucky.

the route takes in truckers and langport, giving two tri-options at 25/30 miles.

route out will be puxton/sandford/winscombe/cheddar should you want to latch on.

Then it's hobbs boat in the evening, see you there!

I'm takin my curvelo out only because my trec is in hospital. I've been dieting all week. By reducing my usual pizza, twiix and pork scratching diet I have lost at least 2 oz so I'll be flying on Saturday. I've also decided to sacrifice comfort for speed by increasing my tyre pressure to 45 psi.

Riding out from WSM was well supported by about 20+ ( didn't count ) Nothing to reported apart from the usual sprints along the Axbridge Bypass. Somehow was divided into two breakaways. I was in the second one with Burns and Cranky . With some guy with deep section wheels winning the finish without help out at the front.pirat Sorry no not him He didn't have his Pin out today. So he was not in any of the usual Dash to Death finish. Ivan and Tracy went early christmas shopping at Bakers Cycles in Cheddar Cheese shop to look at Last years nobody wants bikes. Politely told to grease his BB and don't come back.
Pedwell drop was a free for all with Nick coming close to not seeing his fiftieth on Wed. Ham Sandwich Hill was won by F@@K knows I was at the back. Ivan was on one with a cyclist who must of pissed him off, by over taking him up High Ham and then racing after him to Langport. The usual dash from  Langport was won by me again. easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Told Chief of the clan I was stopping at Langport Tea Pot what ever it is called (garden Centre) needed to be back early.  Only Tracy stopped with me. Sam and co stopped at Langford city somewhere. sorry Sam I thought you new where the usual stop is at Langford.
Very Happy What a lovely ride back from Langport. Sun shining sunny Weather perfect not to cold or wet with the wind at our backs or so, just right for 21mph average back to Mark. Then on to WSM on my todd. No idea what happen to the Cranky and the Curry gang.  But nice KOM I noticed from the new boys. Well done lads cheers
We better slow down before Weston Wheeler start poaching the cream.
    Martin Where were you today?
