I never knew the Cliff Railway was water powered. Well, you learn something new everyday. I bet that Cliff Top Cafe gets jammed packed in the summer.
Yeah, I sort of agree, because some parts don't look that steep, but from where I dropped the pin at; to the white house with the brown garage door on the right hand side looks ridiculously steep.
I'm guessing if you take the overall length of Calle el Monroy and work out the overall gradient percentage. It hasn't got an overall steeper gradient than Baldwin Street, but if you take certain section of Calle el Monroy. The road gradient is a lot steeper than any section of Baldwin Street. Calle el Monroy goes up a side of mountain whereas Baldwin Street only goes up a hill.
I bet my bottom dollar you was trying to impress a girlfriend by driving down Valle Street! Lol... The only reason I didn't bottle it; cycling up Valle Street was there was a group of young ladies having a chit-chat on Park Street. Haha....
