We’ll meet at 9 on Monday for a Bank Holiday jaunt.

It would be good to do another drive and ride into Cotswolds again so please use this thread to confirm your attendance and transport situation. Obviously we can only do this if we have sufficient cars.

Without enough transport we’ll just do a local ride. I will clarify final arrangements on Sunday evening.

All passengers to share petrol costs please.

    Bank Holiday poptastic quizzer:

‘Girls’ School’ was a double A side to which better known 70s number one?

I'm in. I could drive with room for 1 extra bike in the back with seats down.

It was a double A to what at the time was the best selling single ever. Always a good answer in the pub quiz

Ok clever clogs, it was number one for a long time; but which instrumental was one of its number twos?

I think you’ll have to put me on the clock Ken. Possibly Theme from The Deer Hunter

It looks like there’s 4 if us. Neil, Martin, Phil and I. With Phil and Martin driving.

All welcome, but any additions will need to provide their own transport.

They followed up this number two instrumental with a vocal version of the same tune; fronted by a famous Irishman.

Kemble is a direct service to London so you could be sat in the beer garden with a pint 1hr 10 after leaving Paddington
