Hey guys, I don't want to put you off or anything, but as I have this week off I'll be out on the Wednesday ride.

The weather will be cold but dry, which means I'll be bringing out my white Pinny. He's very sensitive, so please don't upset him with any mud filled lanes.

I've just had a text from Ivan to say he will be riding to The Little Chef at Podimore services (map link below) this Wednesday. Meeting at Priory school at 8:45.

Met Office says the 'feels like temp' tomorrow will be -2 ish. Better wrap up.

Pub tomorrow night - behave yourself this time !

I shall be cycling to the pub again but the intension is to drink less this time - we'll see :-)

A good ride today. Still quite cold, but the sun came out and at one time I thought I was wearing too many layers . . . you know how it is trying to get the balance right. Anyway, the feeling didn't last very long and I was back to the usual 'bloody 'ell it's cold' attitude.

Paul, Ivan, Marion & I were the only 4 riders out today. I clocked up 73 miles, the others will be similar. Slow start, rant type finish. Average speed 17mph and that's with a Little Chef "Famous Olympic Breakfast" inside us, except for Paul who had an American breakfast . . . . . oh sorry, an American Style breakfast . . . burp!

This morning I was thinking of you guys when the sun came out but I'm not feeling so bad now that I know who went out on the ride and the average speed!!! If you say it was a rant on the way back then it must have been fast :-).
