Well, praise be that we don't have to ride into a 95 degree heatwave this Saturday. This week saw the hottest British riding conditions since Le Blaireau was made to ride up and down the Plymouth bypass in an effort to promote English tomatoes to French housewives (pronounced tomatoes, not tomateaux.) I bet he needed a few glasses of cider (not cidre) after all that pointless heated effort.
Anyway, where were we? Yes it's cooled off enough to make a ride along the Plymouth bypass on a Saturday summer morning an absolute pleasure, given that it's now part of the A38 .
Anyway, where were we? Ah yes, a destination I hear you plead.
Horton Cross, Monk's 90cm. Usual southerly route, Sea Front, Anchor, Jeannie's bogs, tri option can be North Curry community cafe, no need to ring ahead!
