Following a massed debate at the curry house last night (thanks lads, best value meal out i've had in ages,) we shall head for the orient on saturday.
Paul and I rode a lumpy route to Frome a couple of months ago which we'll try to re-enact, it includes a visit to a safari park so winter bikes may be advisable as the monkeys can sniff a pinarello from 20 miles.
veggie cafe, so you may want to get your bacon before leaving in the morning.
route out will be puxton, sandford, churchill, burrington should you wish to latch on.
full mileage will be around 90-95, though i had over 5000ft of climbing on MY garmin last time, so probably more like 20,000.
tri-option can be rocky mountain, though we get within a few miles of frome on 30 odd miles before a 20 mile detour around the safari park, so that could be an option for those who want to do 70. carpenter's 'i've got to get back' option can be sainsbury's worle.
