We threatened this ride last year before i broke a spoke on cothelstone.

should be a good day with sunny skies and light winds, so what's your excuse...?

we'll approach dunster via wheddon cross and return via blue anchor.

route out will be toll road, sea front, anchor, accommodation road, brent knoll should you wish to latch on.

mileage will be around 99, tri-stop will be pines.

i'll be getting the maillot johnny from nick, so we could give it an inaugural outing; text me any suggestions for the first recipient; i'll present it to the lucky fella at priory.

PS: we'll do another bank holiday drive and ride on monday, probably welsh wales again, parking at chepstow. usual arrangements, see next post.

Without wishing to upset the committee of this fine cycling "club", I would like to propose the knob-cheese that took it on themselves to cancel the Saturday ride a few weeks ago, because the BBC forecast said there might be a very small chance of extremely light drizzle for less than 5 minutes during the morning.

    Any seconders?

    Very Happy

Was that a loss of the front cam, rear cam and water bottles?!

All that just so you could have an extra rest!

Very enjoyable ride and I managed to avoid any major sunburn thanks to andy and the bird poo on my nose... Just a shame i was brought to tears on that climb!!!

Highlight for me was getting to the cafe in Dunster with 76 miles on the clock.

Yes, but unfortunately it didn't look anything like as bad as it was.
