I think I saw him in The Grand Casino, Monaco, with Lord Lucan but I can't be sure. My wife thinks she saw him just behind Elvis in the que for fish and chips at the Codfather. If anyone else has any sightings please post here as we need to track this legendary rider/friend down.

Re: Where is Nick ?
I'm sure he was entered at Aintree, being ridden by grilled steak McCoy. I think he came second.

Thats funny, my wife also thought she saw him down the chip shop but he swore he was Elvis. She said he was lying and shes not sure about me.

Nick is the local UKIP candidate.
He's trying to get in on the 'let's send all taffys back over the bridge' ticket.

Re: Where is Nick ?
I think I might have seen him this morning in my "mirror in the bathroom" although the jaded skin texture and grey hair obscures what was once an active two wheel enthusiast.
One thing is for sure, you won't see him every Saturday window shopping - there's just no interest in the racks and shelves!
I did spot his car though. It was parked up at the Aust services next to the one owned by that bloke from the Manic Street Preachers.

Just make sure some idiot on a bicycle doesn't barge past you at 25 mph on the Severn Bridge and knock you off! Don't know who in the right mind would do such a thing!
Hope everything is on the mend. Missing your turns on the front!

Re: Where is Nick ?
Thanks Rich, it's nice to be missed.
I wouldn't say that any improvement in my achillies is particularly evident, but how long do I have to leave it ?
I say bollox to it and I'm flipping well riding!
Hope to be out on a Saturday ride in the next 2 weeks, but I'll see you this Saturday night in Wrington.

Re: Where is Nick ?
I think I can solve this mystery.
About 2 months ago, our Sunday morning group welcomed a new member. He fitted in really well with us on our Carrera's and Boardman's, though we did think him a bit posh as he rolled up on one of Nigel Halford's flagship steeds.
He really is an ace rider and has impressed us with his tenacity. He can ride for miles at a time on the front at 20's; I bet you wish you had guys who could do that!!! Once, he even hit the front and stayed at 23kph for over 10 minutes (though this was down Burrington.)
Anyway, he's ours now, so pi55 off.
PS: He reckons that all you lot have drop handlebars; this must be crap because we know that it is highly dangerous in group riding situations as they make you wobble about too much.
