Ohhhhh, I see what you've done - Chris Frome but it took me a while!!!!
In his honor I'll be staring at my stem all the way there and back and spinning like a mad man up the hills.
I'll also be packing my own meat as the cafe is veggie only!
Keeping my fingers crossed for a dry summer bike ride.

Although we started out with overcast weather by the time we got to the cafe it was sunny and almost warm! Around 16 eager souls turned out for a ride eastwards to Rocky Mountain or Frome. Ivan brought his new stead along - some flash Italian thing. We headed out the usual route via Puxton, Churchill and up Burington to the Mendip Motorway. We struggled with a side/head wind most of the way along the top of the Mendips. After we dropped off the sensible riders at Rocky Mountain we continued on to Frome, enjoying the quiet back roads. Paul met some old guy on a bike just outside Frome who enlighted him on the benefits of Audax's.
At the cafe we had to make do with the usual veggie options but it was warm enough to sit outside even in the shade. We talked about the usual subjects of pro riders doping and the length of Pauls stem.
The return ride was a bit fragmented but we all enjoyed the decent of Burrington. A few of us tried our luck at the sprint areas but Ivan was on form and won them.
