Saturday 30th November - Shit n' Smellit

Yep, we'll break another duck this year by riding to the home of babycham (i'll have one of those.....)

as you may, or may not be aware (or care) there is hardly a plethora of cafe's in shitn'.., however, a costa was recently opened in the glorious surroundings of their retail park, so it's buckets of catchapenol all 'round.

forecast is good so, no excuses...

Twenty riders for a bright but crisp morning. Nice to see Bernie out. Ivan led us out via, Puxton, Langford, Burrington and the Mendip motorway. When we reached the Rocky Mountain cafe some of us took the easy option of stopping there - Steve, Andy, Wayne, Paul and myself where we enjoyed some very nice cake and coffee (gluten free chocolate orange cake followed by two pieces of shortbread and another brew) at a very reasonable price leaving enough change to get our partners a nice xmas present. The rest of the 'men' continued on to Shepton Mallet.

Buy of the week for me was some Speedplay cleat covers which can be worn all the time. £20 from www.comtat.co.uk.

Next weekend is the xmas meal. We are meeting at the pier at 10am and doing a twiddle arriving back at the Commodore in Sandbay.
